sometimes i just look at FiM storyboards and lament their decision to use flash instead of traditional animation because just look at how great and expressive these faces are

So I had this professor who handed out this outdated article about some cows mysteriously appearing dead without their faces and sex organs in the fields of Montana, and we had to solve the mystery for our hw. It was a dumb assignment and I almost ended up drawing aliens probing cows…but I went with this Buffalo Bill idea instead. I still couldn’t use it for my portfolio because it’s just from Silence of the Lambs, but it was a fun practice in cinematic compositions. Oh, and the professor ended up getting fired lol

Disney’s Mulan Deleted Scene: Reflection
In my opinion, deleting this scene from “Reflection” was a terrible mistake. The song is beautiful, don’t get me wrong, but this added part takes a somewhat disparing song and makes being different empowering and strong.

Yeah, Lea Salonga was heartbroken that they cut the song. I can understand why. This part is inspirational.
